Hello Crafters!

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I have quite a bit to be thankful for:

My very supportive husband who without blinking said, “Go for it!”

My two wonderful children, who drive me crazy, make me laugh and love unconditionally.

Great friends that support and care for me.

The cozy little cottage that I get to come to almost every day and do what I love.

And for all of you who come in and show off what you are creating and for all the support you have given Stash in the last few months.

Now for Stash News:

If you came to the shop in the last two weeks, you may have noticed I was not here.  I need to explain:  I had a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic I was taking and ended up in the hospital for a few days.  Everything is fine and I’m back to what I love doing most.  I really want to thank these wonderful women: Cathy, Carol, Sheila, Heather and Destiny.  Without these five great ladies, Stash would not have been open the two weeks I was out.  I also thank all of you for your thoughts, prayers, and concern.

Enough about all that, on to the good stuff:

I need to tell you about the awesome Camel Wool that just arrived last week.  It is so soft and the colors are amazing.  If you like that warm fuzzy feeling inside for supporting a good cause, then this is the yarn for you.  This yarn from the Snow Leopard Trust supports Free Trade, Protects Wildlife, Increases the Livelihood of Communities in Mongolia and other Asian Countries, Provides education, and preserves Natural Habitats.   Also available from the Snow Leopard Trust are great handcrafted Christmas tree ornaments.

Also just arrived last week: Anna Maria Horner Oil Cloth and Amy Butler’s Newest Patterns, The Liverpool and Sweet Harmony Handbag and Tote.

Check out the latest craze in crafting for the holidays: Wool Pets Needle Felting kits.  These kits make great stocking stuffers, present toppers, Christmas tree ornaments, and are just plain fun for all ages.   The newest and greatest kits: Sock Monkey, Chickadee, Snowmen, and Skiing Sheep.

Starting Dec 1st Stash will have new hours.  After being open for these past few months I think I have a handle on better ways to be open for you.  The new hours are as follows:  Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 10 am – 4 pm, Thursday Noon – 8 pm, and Sunday Noon – 4 pm.  Did you notice the late night on Thursday?!?  I’m thinking Needle Arts Night every Thursday 5 pm – 8 pm!  How about you?

Classes will be posted this weekend.  Sorry they are posted so late, but as you heard, I was out of commission for a few weeks.

Look for a Mitten Advent Calendar, the first customer to come into Stash every day in December will get the Advent Treat.  It may be a sweet treat, a coupon, or even free yarn or fabric!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Day and happy shopping for the holidays!

Have a Stitchin' Good Day!

Crystal
